Introduction

Better Life Social Organization is dedicated to improving the lives of very needy families and children. As winter approached, we identified a pressing need for warm clothing among the residents of Letang, 05 Morang. This project aimed to distribute used clothes to ensure that these families could stay warm and healthy during the cold season. The initiative impacted 200 children and 300 adults, providing essential winter clothing and bringing comfort and relief to the community.

Objectives

The primary objectives of this project were:

  1. To collect and distribute used winter clothing to needy families in Letang, Morang.
  2. To ensure that 200 children and 300 adults have adequate clothing to stay warm during winter.
  3. To engage the community in the spirit of giving and support.

Location

The project was implemented in Letang, Ward No. 05, Morang. This area was selected based on the identified needs and the presence of many vulnerable families living in challenging conditions.

Project Implementation

Phase 1: Collection of Used Clothes

The project began with a collection drive for used winter clothes. This involved:

  • Organizing donation events in collaboration with local schools, businesses, and community centers.
  • Spreading awareness through social media, local newspapers, and community announcements.
  • Setting up drop-off points for clothes donations across various locations.

Phase 2: Sorting and Preparation

Once collected, the clothes were sorted and prepared for distribution:
