Introduction: Better Life Social Organization (BLSO) is dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable members of our community. In collaboration with generous donors like Mr. Takumi Katayama and the dedication of our volunteers, we launched a project to provide essential food assistance to 32 very low-income riverside homeless families, comprising a total of 288 individuals, including children. This initiative aimed to alleviate hunger and improve the well-being of families facing severe economic hardship.

Objectives:

  1. Provide nutritious food supplies to 32 riverside homeless families in need.
  2. Address immediate food insecurity and alleviate hunger among vulnerable individuals and children.
  3. Foster community support and solidarity through volunteer engagement and donor contributions.

Project Implementation:

  1. Needs Assessment and Planning:
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific food needs of each family, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
    • Develop a comprehensive food assistance plan to ensure adequate provision for all 32 families over an extended period.
  2. Procurement and Packaging:
