New Toilet Project Successfully Completed at JEB School, Sarlahi

BLSO is proud to announce the successful completion of the New Toilet Project at JEB School, located in Babarganj-02, Sarlahi. The project was officially completed on May 9, 2026, with the goal of improving sanitation, hygiene, dignity, and health conditions for school children and staff.

Project Information

• Project Name: New Toilet Project
• Location: Babarganj-02, Sarlahi, Nepal
• School: JEB School
• Toilet Model: Separate toilets for boys and girls
• Beneficiaries: 210 students and 14 staff members
• Facilities Included:
  • Clean water supply inside the toilets
  • Hand wash basin facilities
  • Improved hygiene environment for students and teachers

Project Impact

Access to safe and clean sanitation is essential for a healthy learning environment. Before this project, students faced difficulties due to inadequate toilet facilities. The newly constructed toilets now provide students with a safer, cleaner, and more comfortable environment.

This project will help:

• Improve daily hygiene practices among students
• Reduce health and sanitation-related problems
• Encourage regular school attendance, especially for girls
• Create a healthier and more dignified school environment
• Promote long-term awareness about cleanliness and sanitation

More than 224 direct beneficiaries will now have access to improved sanitation facilities every day.
