 BLSO Nepal’s Ongoing Support for Flood-Affected Families

When devastating floods struck communities in Nepal, the need for immediate humanitarian support was urgent. From day one, Better Life Social Organization (BLSO Nepal) has been working directly with affected families, providing essential assistance to help them get through this difficult time.

Our team has been supporting around 60 people every day with warm meals, while also providing essential relief items and assistance based on the needs of families on the ground.

What BLSO Nepal Has Provided

Our ongoing emergency support has included:

•  Warm meals for around 60 people every day

•  Rice and other essential food supplies

•  Sleeping bags

•  Sleeping mats

•  Blankets

• Essential medicines

•  Support for medical treatment when needed

• Direct assistance and coordination with affected families

For families who have lost their homes, belongings, or sources of income, even basic necessities can become difficult to access. BLSO Nepal is committed to standing with these families during this challenging period.

The Need Is Still There

Although emergency relief has already reached many families, the needs have not ended. Many people are still living in temporary shelters and continue to require food, warm bedding, medicines, hygiene supplies, and medical support.

Providing daily meals and essential relief requires continuous resources. With limited funds, it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to maintain this level of support.

We Need More Support

BLSO Nepal is continuing this work as long as resources allow, but we cannot do it alone.
