Shoe Project for Riverside Homeless Children

Project Overview: Better Life Social Organization is pleased to announce our Shoe Project aimed at supporting 300 children living in the River Tent Houses in Kathmandu, Nepal. These children come from families facing severe economic hardship, where purchasing even necessities like shoes is a luxury beyond reach.

Project Details:

  • Number of Beneficiaries: 300 children
  • Location: River Tent House community, Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Estimated Cost per Pair of Shoes: 800 NPR

Background: Many children living in the River Tent Houses walk barefoot due to financial constraints. This exposes them to injuries, infections, and other health risks. Our goal is to provide these children with durable shoes that will not only protect their feet but also improve their overall well-being and quality of life.

Impact: The provision of shoes will:

  • Enhance Safety: Protect children from injuries caused by sharp objects and debris.
  • Promote Health: Reduce the risk of infections and foot-related ailments.
  • Support Education: Enable children to attend school comfortably and with dignity.

How You Can Help: Your support is crucial to the success of this project:

  • Donate: Your contribution will directly fund the purchase of shoes for these vulnerable children.
  • Spread Awareness: Share this project with your friends, family, and community to raise awareness about the challenges faced by homeless children in Kathmandu.
  • Volunteer: Join us in distributing shoes and making a direct impact on these children’s lives.

Conclusion: By participating in our Shoe Project, you will play a significant role in providing essential footwear to 300 children in need, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive and pursue their dreams. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Riverside homeless children in Kathmandu.
