Introduction

Education is a fundamental right of every child and plays a crucial role in the socio-economic development of a community. In rural areas like Letange Municipality, Morang, access to essential educational resources can be limited, affecting the quality of education. This project aimed to support primary schools in Letange by providing necessary school materials and conducting awareness programs, positively impacting over 1000 students.

Objectives

The primary objectives of this project were:

  1. To supply essential school materials (notebooks, pens, pencils, and course books) to five primary schools.
  2. To raise awareness about the importance of education among students, parents, and the community.
  3. To enhance the educational experience and reduce dropout rates in these schools.

Location

The project was implemented in Letange Municipality, a rural area in Morang District. The five primary schools.

Project Implementation

Phase 1: Needs Assessment

A comprehensive needs assessment was conducted to identify the specific requirements of each school. This included:
