Support Education for Underprivileged Children in Sarlahi, Nepal

Better Life Social Organization is a non-profit initiative that has been serving the most vulnerable children since 2011. Our mission is to bring education, hope, and opportunity to homeless and orphaned children in Nepal especially those who are unable to attend regular school due to poverty.

The Situation in Sarlahi-02, Babarganj

In the rural and underprivileged community of Babarganj, Sarlahi, many families belong to low-caste groups who survive through seasonal agricultural labor. Their daily income is uncertain, and many live without stable homes. Due to extreme financial hardship:

• Most children are not attending school

• Some children are forced to work for food

• Others spend their days playing unsupervised, missing out on their right to education

What We’re Doing

To address this crisis, Better Life Social Organization has started a temporary free school in Babarganj. We are currently supporting 140 children who are eager to learn and change their future. Some of them are also showing great interest in creative activities like drawing.

What We Need

Despite our passion and commitment, our resources are very limited. We are urgently seeking support to continue this project:

• Teacher's Salary & Notebooks: $ 2,400 per child/year

•  Drawing Materials: $ 550 per child/year
